The Evolution of Entrecard - Is it a bad thing?

I have not been with Entrecard since the start but I have been there a long time and would call my self a regular user. As you may have read I have been having some issues with Entrecard and how it has evolved. This week we saw some new features come to light, a lot of them people have been asking for for some time:

As you can see the EC Admin has been a very busy man and has done some amazing work!

But my question is: Is Entrecard evolving to fast?

I sometimes believe some things in life are meant to be simple and when you go and add loads of things it breaks… People get too much of a good thing and get sick of the taste.

Look at Google and how simple it is compared to Yahoo! and MSN. Just the basics and it works! Yahoo! has everything you could ever need but it is crammed in your face with all the bells and whistles jumping out at you… Google does have tons of features but they are never overdone and they keep to basics.

I think this “Add more blogs” is a bad idea. They are pushing this with the contest so more people will sign up… But this will then cause a lot of spam sites popping up and more credits in the economy… Will these credits just be given for adverts? I don’t think so… You will get farms pop-up as now it is more easy to drop… and be DROPPED ON.

I know this feature has been asked for a million times on the forums and it has been needed….

Maybe this is just me getting old and moaning about change… if it is then just move on… But if this is overdoing it with Entrecard then it could be the tipping point for some people.

Final Fantasy VII: Remake?

** SPOILERS WARNING **

Maybe this is old news to everyone and I have heard the rumours for many many years now. The reason I make this post is because I just completed Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core and stuck with it till the end of the credits. At the end you see Cloud and Aerith in what is a semi remake of the Final Fantasy 7 intro. The intro has Cloud saying “I am Cloud, SOLDIER First class”.

Another reason I think there may be a remake is there was so many unanswered questions. There was a unknown 4 year gap in which a lot could have happened. There were people who had unfinished tales (Maybe it was just me not fully completing the game though) and most of all, Millions of fans want it done!

I know it would be the sole selling point for me buying a PlayStation 3 as no other games have the pulling power of the Final Fantasy Series for me and many other OLD gamers. They also have many die hard fans who have grown up and have stopped playing 90% of the games that we used to play. The only games that have any selling power for me now are Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid games., I do enjoy the GTA and a few other big names… But they would not have my buy a console just to play them.

My Brother owns a Xbox 360 and most the time it is just sat idle doing nothing. The only time he ever plays it is when a new game comes out and then it lasts a week or two till he gets bored… Which is why I think the 360 has failed… It has no other uses unlike the PS3 which has the Blue Ray player.

But anyway, does anyone have any confirmation of Final Fantasy 7/VII remake? And if so… Will it be an exact remake or a whole new side to the stories we may have missed.

Is it normal for women/mothers to be like this?

When/if you split up with your partner and you have children involved is it right to make the rest of the family pay? Say you split up with your partner and then are on bad terms with your ex, should you then be on bad terms with the his/her family?

The reason I ask is today I am in another bad mood due to my children being used as pawns… But this time its not just against me but against my family. My ex has decided to out the blue not have much contact with my mum and the rest of my family… They used to be really close but over the past few months its been cancellation after cancellation and now its just nothing…. No calls or anything.

The ex is Laina as Steph seems to be trying harder to let my mum see my 2 children but Laina… Not so much.

I just wanted to know what you all think of this… Do you think maybe she is trying to fully move on and have no contact with me in anyway? Or is it her just being a bitch again?

QUESTION: If you could ask a Dog and a Cat one question each what would it be?

I am sat here reading blogs on my reader and look down and there is my dog looking at me. I start to ask him “What?” and he just sniffs at me like he is in some mood… So I start thinking about what he has to be moody about… He gets food, does not work, gets pampered all day… can lick his own…Don’t worry

Then it gets to 8am ish and he gets up and waits by the front door… I was wondering why, but then it happened! the Postman came and stuck some letters through the door. I thought “What must he think this man is? Does he think he is someone who annoys him everyday by invading our door and trying to attack us?” one-day I’d love to open the door and see what happens… Also… How does he know what time it is? Its crazy.

So yea, my question for my Dog would be:

“Who and what do you think the man who comes to our door everyday at 8am is and what does he do”

I guess for my/family Cat it would be

“Why do you like heights so much?”

(The only reason I put cats in was because so many people love them, I personally do not care much for them…)
