Man, that’s rough. My Father in Law committed suicide and I blame him for taking away a grandfather to my kids. Totally selfish, but I guess that doesn’t matter to them when they are gone.

Anyone contemplating suicide needs to understand that life-situations are temporary. Every situation is subject to change and indeed will change. Your friend may be at peace, but his children are not. They will live with the pain of his death for the rest of their lives. Even though he was estranged from his children by the courts, or his wife, that was not the end of the story in his children’s eyes. Had I not had access to my father when I was a child, I would have lived for the day when outside influences could no longer keep me away from the most important person in my life. I wish your friend would have known that, and prepared for that day of unification. It would have been sublime for all involved. Now it will never occur. That is heartbreaking, and I weep for his children.

I am sorry to this. Three years ago I also lost a friend. He hanged himself.Until now I could not believe he did it.He is a person with strong character.We,his friends refused to talk about this unfortunate event.I can feel your sorrow.Only Prayers can help us in trying times like this.

I like that. I have tried once. I never backed out… I was found by a family member.

I am now glad I never though… but the thought is always there.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Albert Camus wrote that a person is never truly alive who hasn’t contemplated suicide. Why? Because if you haven’t, your living passively–alive simply because you got born, something you had absolutely no control over. If you’ve contemplated suicide but not gone through with it, however, you’ve made a choice to live. Think of that when you think about how appealing suicide looks–that simply saying “no” to it can give a new meaning to your life.

I have a batch page at http://cheapkeywords.info/Entrecard.html that really speeds up dropping. Not sure if you want to encourage people to go fast, but this is a really fast way to do it. (use it yourself, if you like)

In you guide you should encourage people to post a comment as often as they can and every time they comment, stumble the post. This is what I do, the extra traffic is probably apprecaited.

Back at my list, I just made a new stuble account and I have been stumbling every one of the 300+ sites in my list. about 60% have already been stumbled, so for those it is just another thumbs up. For the sites that have never been hit before it will be at least 200 hits in one day - or that seems to be the average.

Having said that, I stumbled this post.

I would say that my traffic has only increased by a small amount (Around 1-5% from Scoutle).

What you need to remember is Scoutle is new and is a People network. As with any network it needs people to blog about it to create interest…. I am sure with V2 on its way it will grow more and so will the traffic.

The main reason for me using it right now is because of the spider device. Once the bloggers start using it i am sure it will turn into a great community of bloggers.

Has anyone tried Etology yet? I’ve been using this service for a few months now and so far I’m quite happy with the results. Project Wonderful is nice, but I wasn’t happy with my overall earnings. Therefore, I started searching for something better and eventually found Etology. One of the nice things about Etology is that you can set your own prices, which in the long run equals higher earnings. You can check out this review that I wrote for more info.

I was concerned that it was a phishing thing. Worried you stole my facebook sign-in AFTER I left this page. Not that I didn’t understand it was a joke and that everyone would see his / her pic. Then I realized I was on Lee Doyle’s site. So I wasn’t worried (I trust Lee Doyle). But I still didn’t think it was THAT funny (just because I was worried about using scripts on websites that ask people to sign into their account somewhere else, like I said). Then I followed the links and read the discussions (and the comments above … and your attempts to laugh off what some thought was mean-natured). NOW, I think the whole thing is as good as the http://digg.com/odd_stuff/The_Montauk_Monster (which turned out to be a REAL Fox news story after all… and now I’m waiting to see how it all turns out).
