I don't drop every day, well, because I don't have time. I can't be a dedicated dropper every day. However, I sometimes drop 300 a day, but I don't see a big difference. I think it is because I don't receive 300 in return. So really, entrecard, and the way it has changed is really DOES NOT have much of an effect in my stats at all.

As for me, I am not yet burn-out. This is because I am not allowing EC to dictate me. I drop a lot but it does not mean I am a slave. I have my own list and I monitor it closely.

I am still happy with EC because I am having visitors on my blogs who became regular ones but of course, bounce rate also follows.

In short, I am using EC comfortably.

Thanks.

the sad truth actually is that very few think like Steve. generally it's about drop and run. the good-old dropping is in the past, and that is because to get some results you really should drop a lot.
and as a result the traffic one gets is a mirage. it counts only for alexa, and nothing more than that

I agree Steve. I became a slave to the system for ages... It did stress me out a lot and now I only drop when I feel like it or when I am on a blog that has the widget.

I did notice that my stats have taken a dip but not as much as I thought they would... I guess EC has given me a nice flow of traffic that is not 100% dependent on Entrecard dropping.

Lee, I stopped dropping months ago. I realised to stay on the most popular page there I had to feel under pressure every day and start worrying on days I couldn't drop. I'm happy now to just drop when I happen to visit a site, take a bit more time to leave comments and generally not get too infatuated by it all. At first drops on me stayed good, but eventually they declined a lot. That's cool I want to enjoy Entrecard, not be a slave to it.
