I really like the dark template. But why do you have about the author and says author image. Put your pic man!

For people who have Google Toolbar installed, the Name, Email and Website field all have a yellow background and white text. It is impossible to read what your writing.

Just an FYI. I like the new design.

It’s Ok –I’m not a huge fan of dark templates — they wear on me after awhile. this lighter shade of grey helps some. I’m not a huge fan of solid white either — the longer I have it, the more I hate my current template because it’s so WHITE. I like contrast to break things up.

If I were you I would change that insipid blue text to orange (like a burnt umber) or red (maroon or crimson, not fire-engine red), or maybe a gold.

Just me — a woman’s point of view and all that.

I 100% agree with you. I did work on a white template but it just looked too white… I find it hard getting a middle ground as when i try I just can not agree on what fits best.

I will change the blue today. I like the orange idea… The reason for the red (cc0001) is because it is from the old template and I wanted to try to keep some part of it for old readers. I will change it in time.

Personally, I prefer a lighter theme or simply a theme with white background.

In the past, I would have favored a dark theme such as this but times are different now.

Anyway, most “popular” or “successful” sites are based on light themes with white backgrounds but then again, it depends on what type of crowd one is targeting for, or one’s personal preference?

Putting that aside, this dark theme is actually quite good.

Probably would be quite appealing to those who prefer dark themes.

I am okay with it, but I would not use it for my own site since I favor light themes over dark themes.

Still, this is a good theme you have chosen.

Definetly a good theme. I’m not too big on dark themes but this one isn’t too dark so it looks good
