The long overdue update on the AdSense vs PW is here (Thanks Mack for remding me).

This is a tiny test I have been running for a month or two. It has been a test that I will continue to keep updated and fingers crossed I update more than I have so far

Here are the rusults:

• Project Wonderful: $7.20
• Adsense: $41.20ish (Cant put full amount due to TOS)

As you can see Adsense has really taken over in the race. You can argue that Adsense is getting more space and better placement… Which it is. But I do have a softspot for Project Wonderful as I see it part of the Entrecard community now. It is earning for it spot and is also keeping new ads placed on this blog without me taking much time to update.

I am looking for new and better ad companies because something with AdSense just bugs me., but its staying for now.

I will ad that I have spent $10 on adspace using AdWords which uses Google search for keywords. It works great but I still do not fully understand it.

Ive been playing with AdWords today and was thinking of doing a test like I am with AdSense and Project Wonderful. I thought I would try to make a change and get organised in this to try to save money and also get some readers.

My main area in AdWords will be trying to find fellow Fathers and get them through Poems I write. So here are my goals.

• Use a few keywords and get the list smaller to save money
• Find the best strategies in targeting through AdWords
• Start with 5 AdWords Blocks and work down to 2 or 3
• Make more money in AdSense them spending!
• Not to go overboard in adverts….
• Remember the targeting audience

These are osme goals that I am trying to stick to and work too. At the moment I have only set $20 for the first month. With my adSense, PW accounts I should be able to still make a profit. I do intend on taking the budget up if everything works out better and I see a steady user list grow.

I think that this is the next step in getting me to work harder on this site and find a topic of interest instead of just being a standerd blog. I would like to oneday have a subject that I always blog about and then maybe make a few more blogs.

This is my goal, and I think that is always the key in these type of things.
