Proof: Dads Are Equal
This is a LONG read but it is well worth it. If you cant read it all please read just part of it.
Sadly a friend of mind found out this quote a few days ago:
The research, which clearly illustrates how a father biologically responds to the birth of his children, also explains why thousands of men become clinically depressed when separated from their children to the point of actually committing suicide.

It was not easy writing the above headline. But when Psychology Today, one of the most respected lay journals on clinical psychology releases research illustrating that fathers are empowered biologically no differently than women when it comes to nurturing children, all keywords are needed.
This evidence hits hard at social workers, family court judges and elected legislators who abide by archaic research and outdated laws which state that it is in the best interest of the child to be with the divorced mother - not the divorced father.
“Here is the first hard evidence that men are biologically prepared for fatherhood,” says Psychology Today. “In fact, this is the first evidence that to nurture is part of man’s nature.”

Scoutle is your personal blogging slave!
Scoutle is a new blogging tool that follows in the footsteps of sites such as Entrecard and Spottt. It does have a twist to it that is unlike the others though. With Entrecard you need to spend a lot of time dropping card and promoting your blog… But with Scoutle you have a tiny little slave to do all of the work for you!
Meet your Scout (I call mine Nicole) and she walks around my fave blogs who also use Scoutle! She finds all the interesting posts I may like and send them to my widget on my blog.
All I do is find new blogs I like and get Nicole to say hi for me. She will then go walking around all of my fave blogs and meet other Scouts and as she talks to them she finds out new things.
Here is a video that tries to explain how everything works:
I have only been with this network for a week and have found some cool sites. It has a nice ranking system that I have not totally worked out yet though
I am told that they are working on a new version of Scoutle that should be out soon!
One cool thing I really liked about Scoutle is that you can sign up using OpenID. This is one of the first networks I have seen do this, which is awesome!
When you sign up (Do it now to get more points!) please remember to add me to your network!
Here is some info from the Scoutle website:
1. Sign Up & Login
Sign up, activate your account and login.
2. Create a Scout and let him walk
Your Scout is your personal webcrawler. He will walk over the Internet and meet other Scouts. To help your Scout walk, give him some space by installing the small Stage on your website. This will not only activate your Scout, but will also bring other Scouts to your website.
3. Check & Connect
The Scouts your Scout will meet are selected based on a range of criteria, like interests, networks, connections and more. Be sure to check his results every now and then, visit the websites and if you find them interesting, start a Connection. This will help your website become more valuable.
4. Grow & More
You will not only see more visitors come to your website, but you will also get more points, which means your website is more appreciated. Discover all other options Scoutle has to offer. Create or join Networks or search in the Guide. Of course, new options will be available in the future as well. A new way of browsing the Internet is born!
HAVE FUN!!!

The Entrecard Conspiracy (The EC-Files)
If your a blogger I am sure you have seen the posts floating around about my so called power trip and all these things I am meant to have done. I have so much going on in the real world that most of it has not affected me whatsoever… But some has as it has been made personal.
I will try to explain some things that happened that I believe have been misunderstood or people have got completely wrong. I would also like to use this post to say sorry to a few people.
- I never banned any forum poster.
- I moved and deleted posts that broke rules.
I believe I was in a no-win situation. If I left these posts open I would be seen as a bad MOD not doing my job, if I closed them I would offend people who wanted the posts open. I decided to look after the easy going forum posters who did not want to see aggressive posts on the forum.
A lot of people will have you believe once the Firestorm forum was open they were happy and never bothered anyone as they had their own sandpit to do what they liked in… This was not the case as they continued to post “Recruitment” style posts and would ruin perfectly good posts on the normal forum to a point no one would post there.
From here on, I want to build bridges.
I will take more advice from MOD’s and Admins from now on. I will try to think about things before acting on them, and take more time to stop this from happening again. I do accept some blame for this situation, I was new and have never modded a forum for bloggers before.
i would also like to say a big Sorry to Stan from Razzball as I never gave him credit which he deserved for coming up the consept for u drop I follow. Sorry for not doing this sooner, and sorry if I have caused any bad blood between us. Here is a link to the original post
