I was NEVER excluded from F4J!

Just to clear things up as I have read some reports I have been excluded from F4J.

I have never been excluded, removed, asked to leave or anything like that. I took it upon myself to leave with no push or even being asked by any member of F4J.

I have never even done anything to official in leaving. I just decided to step down.

I still fully believe in everything F4J and RF4J stands for, I just do not have the time or willpower to get involved in anything regarding the group. I am still very good friends with many members of F4J and i hope oneday down the road I can once again work with them.

I have no idea where this info came from regarding me and F4J but would hasard and guess it came from the same place most the news comes from… thin air.

So next time you want to invent something please get some facts straight as I know you have had a few things wrong… And the police were involved in that.

NATIONAL FATHERLESS DAY RALLY

FATHERLESS DAY

As many of my readers know I am a member of Fathers-4-Justice. The past week I have been talking to a member of F4J-US and he told me about this idea he has. I think its amazing as it is not just for all of us Fathers but for everyone. Many children these days grow up in single family homes and many feel that they never get to know their fathers. Many grow up thinking that their father may not love or even care for them… This may be the case for many… But what many people do not know is in many countries Fathers are pushed out of the family home by mothers and authorities. It is much more easy to just push the father out then to work on having BOTH parents help in looking after the child… I feel this is unfair and I am sick of hearing the same story time and time again from loving fathers who phone me crying and email me with the same stories but different names.

This event is NOT just for fathers! We need to change peoples views and we all need to do it together… Not just for ourselves but for our children and our children’s children.

If you have ever known someone who has been effected by a fatherless home please help with this. Even if it is just displaying a badge showing your support or actually joining the cause… Everything helps.

On June the 13th is Fatherless Day and in many city’s and towns around the US and maybe the UK (And more) there will be rallies organised by fellow F4J members. Please show all your support.

Don’t let the bad Dads effect us, we want to be fathers…

To show your support please display this badge. You can link here or to the www.fathers-4-justice.us

Fathers “have no rights” (Law)

Fathers loveA British Court has ruled that a child is so purely the sole property of the mother that she can unilaterally decide to conceal its existence from the father (unless, of course, she unilaterally decides that she’d rather get child support from him).

The court held that “the father’s rights were not violated because he did not have any to violate.”

The underlying legal principle is clear and simple: Women have rights; men have responsibilities!

Quote #1: But the Court of Appeal ordered the local authority not to take any action to inform the father. … Lady Justice Arden said the father’s rights had not been violated because he did not have any to violate. John Baker, chairman of Families Need Fathers, said “It treats the child as the property of the mother, to be disposed of as she sees fit.

Quote #2: Fathers 4 Justice barrister Michael Cox said: “This father is the victim of a wicked deceit in which the State has been complicit. “It is now clear that the Government believes children have no entitlement to a relationship with their fathers and that children are the property of their mothers and of the State.

My Comments:

I don’t see what they are trying to protect children from. A mother has as much capabilities to do harm to a child as a Father… We also can love and have the same feelings for our own children as a Mother can. I hate it that were thought of as another species and cant love our own children as much as a mother… Its rubbish and sexist.

Any man would want to know if he had a child, maybe there are bad fathers out there but there are also mothers who dump their children in bins, and do worse things just like a father can. It should not be about what sex you are but should just be about the child and both people bringing that child up and giving the child the best life possible

This government is creating a problem that does not need to be, we are creating a fatherless culture that could take generations to fix. I do not think that a mother bringing up a child on her own is a bad thing, but I do think that if a father wants to help and be there for the child he should be able to and NOT get any stick from the government or the Mother.

I see so many willing Fathers cry when they think of their own children as they are forced to give up on them. They are forced to pay money for a child they never see but would die too see.

I hate it that we are just seen as a tool to just make the baby and then pay for the child, but the love and feelings we can offer are thrown in our faces and we just have to sit there and take it…. Because we have no rights.

We do not love in some 3rd world country, we love in England! 30 years Women have had the same rights as us… Now we have less then them. Now who is being sexist?

Father killed by child support payments

Background: Those who suffer from child support enforcement’s abuses and errors lead difficult and stressful lives. Sadly, child support enforcement abuses may have contributed to the recent heart attack and death of an English father.

According to the Equal Parenting Alliance, this month “36 year-old veteran soldier Lee Wilkins died while out running. He survived action in Northern Ireland, but those who knew him well believe it was the battles he had with Family Courts and the Child Support Agency which killed him.

“His son lived with him, and in these circumstances, one wonders why the CSA were hounding him to pay them £650, instead of paying money to him. Lee could not understand this either, and we saw the increasing stress which this alleged debt, and the threat of bailiffs caused him.” Lee is pictured with his son. To learn more, see my blog post Did Child Support Enforcement Help Drive this Innocent Father to His Death? (Part I). F4J member John Ison, who was Wilkins’ legal advisor, sent the following letter:

“My name is John Ison. I used to be one of the spokesmen for the original F4J here in the UK.

“I have since moved into politics and stood against the current Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, in the 2005 UK General Election but still campaign for fathers rights and those of our children.

“The reason for my post here is that I was also Legal Advisor to Lee Wilkins.

“Lee contacted me in 2003 when he had no contact with his son and at a time when his son had been partially blinded whilst in the care of his mother. I worked with Lee right up until his death on the 6th December to get justice for his child and for himself and every other law abiding father who has become a victim of the bias family court system.

“Lee and I became extremely good friends and for the last three years always spend our summer vacations together with our children. He became my best mate.

“I was dealing with the threat of the bailiffs since he received the demand detailed above. The date of their contact was the 14th February 2007 - how romantic.

“Lee won’t mind me telling the world that he had no spare money. For every £1 he spent on himself he would spend £2 on his little boy. He would start the month off with £5 in the bank. The small assistance he received from the so-called UK government would clothe and feed his son but little else. If the bailiffs had have come in and taken away the TV, the video, the computer they would have effectively removed it from his son and prevented Lee from potentially earning any money as he was a professional photographer who had just graduated from University and worked from home.

“I had the traumatic job of sorting Lee’s belongings last weekend deciding what needed to be kept and what was surplus to requirements. A man’s life lay before me and I had to save and discard items that were Lee’s, not mine.

“What was VERY apparent was the way he conducted his life - HE LIVED IT FOR HIS SON.

“Lee was a fit man, he ran 5 miles a day, swam, enjoyed judo and cycled instead of using his car. His death certificate indicates that stress cannot be ruled out as a cause, which if anyone knew Lee as well as I did, would know that he was in a personal turmoil with the attitude of the CSA.

Childless Fathers

Daddy?I woke up today in a sort of happy mood, but when I got on the computer and logged into my email things got better. I have just spent the last hour or 2 writing emails to some Fathers who wish to remain nameless. They mostly found my website through my “Fatherless Christmas - Poem” which has got me many hits the past few days, a few of the Fathers contacted me with some stories that are a lot like mine and a lot like my old story before this whole injustice happened.

What really got me about this was not the emails or the fact that they contacted me, but it was the fact of how they found me. They typed into Google “Fatherless Christmas” which then got them her, so what must have driven these Fathers to search for such a subject? I got hundreds of hits just from search results with words just like these, and then they came and read my poems and other posts and needed to contact someones.

These days so many people think that Fathers do not have the same feelings and bonding that mothers have, and in this sexist country that we live it is deemed “OK” for a father to have no contact with his own children. We are now living in a country where the word Father is replaced with the word “Positive Male Role Model” as the word Father is black listed.

In a world where we have tried so hard to show that women are as good as men in doing jobs and normal everyday things, we have now put men and Fathers in a lesser light, were seen as the home-wreckers, the violent, the unloving, and uncaring but to say this and to think this aren’t we doing what was done to women all them years ago? Is this not sexist? And what will be of our future Fathers? What will my son have to go through to see his children?

Let us change our views on Fathers, let us judge each person on how they care for their children, if a Father wishes to be around his children and wants to care for them let that be, it will only effect our children’s future and then our country.

Thank you for the emails, I hope things get better for you all and your children.

Fathers 4 Justice Canada is sending this Equal Parenting Christmas Card (pictured) to all members of the Canadian Parliament, as well as all Senators and Provincial Premiers. F4J Canada has done a series of highly-publicized stunts and acts of civil disobedience as part of their campaign to protect children’s right to have a relationship with both parents after divorce.

Is Fathers 4 Justice’s direct action justifiable?

Western Daily Press had a Fathers-4-Justice poll and I am very shocked at the outcome, it has 92% Agree that Fathers-4-Justice’s direct action is justifiable! And only 8% said no…

I wonder what everyone thinks of this, and I wonder what the F4J members are going to do.
