Google Chrome BETA Review

Written by Lee Doyle on September 3, 2008 – 12:20 am

Unlike most of you I never even knew Google was working on a browser… well I thought they would but not until they maybe had their own OS like Goobuntu or something.

Anyway, this ia short review of the new browser.

First of all I just want to say how sexy it looks! I will not be switching from firefox but I sure will use the new Shortcut Application feature! This is the gold dust me for as I use most of Googles tools like Gmail and their Reader.

For people who are not sure what this is ill let you know. have you ever liked a tool online that you thought would be a cool thing to use as a program but thought “Ill have to boot up my browser and then I have all the extra userbars that take up all the space” well now you dont have to worry! Google Talk with AIM now? NICE!

Written by Lee Doyle on December 4, 2007 – 11:27 pm

Gmail_AIM2Maybe its not new but I thought it was cool when I clicked on my Gtalk inside Gmail and it showed me a AIM button. I dont use AIM much and have not logged in for years but now Google Talk is using it I may find some old friends.

Maybe if Google can get the same deals with MSN, Yahoo! and Skype it would make it a amazing web based client as I love how cimple it is.

I think AIM are also trying to switch to XMPP so if they do maybe we will see all MSN and other Jabber networks.
