Poem for my Children

Written by Lee Doyle on October 7, 2008 – 1:41 pm

Can I put the feelings into these words of how much you mean to me?
I’ll try my best,
But I’ll never find the words as beautiful as thee,

I’ve sat here for months and months trying to write my feelings down,
While trying to write,
And make you proud,
Without sounding like a clown,

Your my children,
and I love you to death,
and I wish I could tell you that,
All i get is these few words and page you might not see,
What I’d give for a tiny chat,

I’ve wrote so many letters to you that might not see the light of day,
But I hope you know how much I love you all,
Telling you like this is my only way,

I have so many plans, dreams, all saved up inside of my head,
But right now the only time I get to dream of these days,
is when I’m asleep in my solo bed,

I know one day it will all end,
and then times will not be so bad,
But till that day i’ll keep writing all these things down,
to remember the times so sad,

These times are so bad,
but they serve for good use,
to show whats important to me,

Its made me so strong,
Its made me a man,
Now its my children I only see,

I have wrote so many poems for my children. Most are half writen as I can never get my feelings out when I write about them. Most of the time I have to pretend that I have no children as it is my only way of coping… The times I do think about them are the times I now use as fuel to keep me going.

I wish I could get my feelings out more… But sometimes the real importent things that you love unconditionally are the hardest things to talk or write about. For this I am truly sorry to my children… I hope you do not think I am not thinking about you as I do….

Love Dad

Entrecard partners with OiOpublisher!

Written by Lee Doyle on October 1, 2008 – 2:41 am

This is amazing news! You can now really use Entrecard Credits to buy things that you would normaly just use PayPal or other online currencies for. If you sell ads or anything you can now do it with Credits!

OIO is basically a plugin that you use for Wordpress or your selfhosted blog/website. You just sign-up and then download the plugin. Upload it to your server (Just like a normal plugin) and set the settings. You then enable Entrecard and put in your user id (Your personal Entrecard dashboard number) and grab your API code (On your dashboard with Payments API). Now you set what you think credits are worth for 1$ (I put 200) and your done!

Now you just set up your ads or whatever you wish to sell and then you can sell for credits!
