No way! I love that episode. Ive only ever seen it once but it always stuck in my mind.

I know its all sci-fi but things like that make me think. As i have said I have no answers so am quite open to most thoughts. I have had bible studies and church meetings every chance i get, i always tell them "I do not believe but am open to it" as I like learning and... you never know.

Maybe some religion will start up over that episode.... Oh wait... Scientology

Glad to see your site is back up!

I wanted to say you didn't offend me. I mean at no time did you say, "You should believe what I believe! Rawr!" So it's all good. :o)

It's funny, right before I had read your reply, I had watched an episode of Star Trek TNG that revealed that one civilization planted their own DNA strands into the oceans of 19 other planets, and we were one of them. So basically we were created by a group of people in their image. hahahaha

Out of curiosity, which 10% of religions do you not find ridiculous?

I am a Atheist but have no issues with anyone who believes in anything, as I believe in myself.

I do find 90% of religions very funny which is why I enjoy these quotes.

My best quote which I use in all my emails is this:

"I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.” [Stephen F Roberts]

I just believe we are here, no being created us, I do not understand why we are here or how we got here... But I believe science offers many more realistic answers then any religion.

I also love #1

Religion easily has the best bullshit story of all time. Think about it. Religion has convinced people that there’s an invisible man…living in the sky. Who watches everything you do every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten specific things he doesn’t want you to do. And if you do any of these things, he will send you to a special place, of burning and fire and smoke and torture and anguish for you to live forever, and suffer, and burn, and scream, until the end of time. But he loves you. He loves you. He loves you and he needs money.

I think it fits very well.

I hope I have not offended you.

So then are you an atheist or do you just not like (the Christian) religion? Because there is a difference. Number 49 could be applied to anything, not just religious beliefs.

Also, your blog wouldn't let me comment on your 1984 poem. Apparently 5+3 does not equal 8, nor does 2+3 equal 5, and I should learn to do math. I tried to reply with, "Very nice. And I agree, Big Brother exists. I think perhaps on a larger scale than we can imagine. Sometimes I think that's why the internet is what it is."
